Locate the protrusion of the Iliac crest bones, at the highest point of the pelvic girdle, by feeling the sides of the body with your fingers above the hips. Then tie a string horizontally (perfectly level) around the waist at these points.
Measure ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘H’ using that string.
To facilitate taking measurements, tie a string horizontally around the waist at the highest point of the Iliac crest bones, then measure down the spine from the most protruding bone at the base of the neck (the 7th vertebrae) to the waistline.
